Service Description

Puppies love to play and you probably love to watch your puppy play or engage with him in play. Playing is an essential part of learning social skills with other dogs and humans. But what behaviors are appropriate for your puppy to display and which situations should you avoid? The goal of this class is to help you analyze your puppy’s play, interpret body language, and to identify what behavior is appropriate and what not. You will also learn how to intervene and interrupt play that has become inappropriate. I will show you games that you can play with your dog that will enhance your training and socialization. As with all Buddy’s Puppy Foundations classes, you will have the opportunity to socialize your puppy in a safe environment and ask questions about behavior challenges during a 30-minute Q&A session after the class. ​ Technics we use & learn: Positive Reinforcement Marking Good Behaviors Canine Body Language Touch / Name Recognition / Leave it / Recall Details: For Puppies 12 weeks to 7 months $50 / 1.5 hour class Record of current core vaccinations required
