Service Description

This part of socialization should already start at the breeder early on but unfortunately, many puppies arrive at their forever home anxious or reactive to touch. In this class, I will focus on teaching you the techniques of handling so that your puppy will love being touched or at least will tolerate it. Your dog needs to learn to accept touch from you and from strangers. Preventing body sensitivity has many practical applications to your dog's life in the future. Two of the most important ones are grooming and being handled during veterinarian visits. We will cover basic grooming like nail clipping and muzzle training too. As with all Buddy’s Puppy Foundations classes, you will have the opportunity to socialize your puppy in a safe environment and ask questions about behavior challenges during a 30-minute Q&A session after the class.
