Service Description

One of the greatest joys of owning a dog is watching them interact with children. Without good training and practice though, such interactions can result in unpleasant and sometimes tragic results. Training the child as well as the young puppy is essential for safe interactions. Would you like your kids to know how to best interact with dogs? This class is for kids, puppies and adult dogs! Your children will learn how and when to approach a dog and play safely, while you learn how to handle and introduce puppies to children. Attending puppies will get more familiar with the unique movements and sounds of children. As with all Buddy’s Puppy Foundations classes, you will have the opportunity to socialize your puppy in a safe environment and ask questions about behavior challenges during a 30-minute Q&A session after the class. Technics we use & learn: Positive Reinforcement Marking Good Behaviors Canine Body Language Touch / Name Recognition / Leave it / Down How to Greet Details: For Puppies 12 weeks to 7 months (limited to 4 pups & 4 kids) $50 / 1.5 hour class Record of current core vaccinations required The class is free for kids, but please register with Tasha: tasha@buddydogcare.com.
