Service Description

Dogs can be trained to understand verbal cues such as “wait” and “come,” but merely using these cues is often insufficient. To successfully communicate with your dog, it’s most effective and often critical to use body language and voice modulation when giving commands. That is the primary focus of the class: Fine-tuning your training and communication skills with your puppy. Additionally I will teach you the principles of learning by consequences and its practical implication in dog training, like marking and rewarding good behavior and setting boundaries and consequences for unwanted behavior. As with all Buddy Puppy Foundations classes, you will have the opportunity to socialize your puppy in a safe environment and ask questions about behavior challenges during a 30-minute Q&A session after the class. Technics we use & learn: * Positive Reinforcement * Clicker/Marker Training * Learning by Consequences * Using Body Language * Modulation of Voice
